3つの要点

✔️薬物の利点や使用法の予測のため、Traderという名の新たな最適化アルゴリズムを導入した。

✔️Traderから得られた薬剤標的相互作用(DTI)予測モデルは、他の手法と比較しても優れたパフォーマンスを発揮した。

✔️本研究で提案された手法は、将来の創薬や副作用などの研究においても利用できると期待される。

概説

既存の薬物の新たな利点を予測するため、複数の機械学習アプローチが提案されてきた。
これらの方法によって、いくつかの薬物の新たな使用法が導入されたが、効率的な方法ならばより正確に予測することが可能となる。
この目的のために、我々は新しい最適化アルゴリズムに基づく機械学習の手法──Traderと名付けた──を新規に提案した。
このアルゴリズムの機能が科学のさまざまな範囲に適用可能であることを示すために、標準的なベンチマーク関数と先進的なベンチマーク関数に基づく10の最先端の最適化アルゴリズムと比較した。
次に、多層人工ニューラルネットワークを設計し、Traderによってトレーニングして薬剤標的相互作用(DTI)を予測した。
最後に、提案した手法の機能性をいくつかのDTIデータセットで調べ、他の方法と比較した。
Traderによって得られたデータは、他の最適化アルゴリズムの欠点を排除し、より良い結果をもたらすことを示した。
さらに、提案された機械学習法は、未知のDTIを予測する際に、他の一般的で効率的な手法と比較して有意なレベルの性能を達成することがわかった。

生成された各データセットに対して、Traderベースの手法は他の手法よりも高いDTI予測能力を示した。
人工ニューラルネットワークのトレーニングにおいて生成されたデータセット(EN、IC、GP、NR)に対するTraderの収束動作。
